Because chocolate #sprinkles protein donuts are life..
I woke up this morning craving donuts bad. For when the nagging donut feeling won’t go away. I've shared my recipe which is very similar to my chocolate mug cake. However, you'll need to use the oven. Its a good thing because you don't want to nuke everything you eat. Let me know how you like it!
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-2 scoops Shakeology/protein powder
-2 tbs sweetener of your choice ( I used liquid Stevia, about a dropper full was enough)
-couple of dashes of salt
-4 tbsp coconut/almond milk
-4 tbsp greek yogurt, vanilla
-1/4 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
-1 tbsp coconut/almond milk, or more as needed.
roasted coconut, sprinkles.. Directions
-Preheat oven at 350 degrees
-Pre-grease donut pan
-In a bowl mix Shakeology, baking powder, salt, sweetener.
-Next, mix in eggs and milk.
-Combine with dry ingredients, stir until a few lumps remain.
-Place two tablespoon dollops of the wet mix in each muffin or donut hole.
-Bake for 10-12 minutes watching carefully. Pull out when a toothpick comes out dry.
-While donuts are baking, mix your ingredients for icing.
-When it is done the donuts should pop out immediately.
-Let cool on wire rack
-Place icing on top and choose your toppings.
-Enjoy! Makes 6 donuts
