Struggle, it's worth it.
Let's set the record straight. You see me and my lifestyle and think to yourself-- She has it so easy. She doesn't have to work. She has successful businesses already. OH she's on the beach AGAIN. She was already fit. She has a perfect marriage. She's already a natural. OH there she goes again in her new outfit. Sometimes, people see all the glory and didn't know me when I had NOTHING. I have faced adversity time and time again. The difference is when I fail, I get back up and try again. It's a viscious cycle that needs to be repeated. You will face adverse situations, challenges, and obstacles.. I have:
-Not been able to make $500 rent with a family of 3
-Worked at TJ MAXX while pregnant
-Had three boys
-Been Skinny Fat
-Achieved Skinny the Unhealthy Way
-Worked 12 hour days, six days a week for years at a time
-Talked about the D-word plenty with my hubby of 19 years
-Had two failed restaurants
-Been ridiculed by friends and family
Wherever you are and whatever you are facing, I want to encourage you to not shrink back. Instead, RISE UP to the occasion, believe that you will conquer it. Set long term goals, break them down to smaller ones and review them regularly like once a week, have a heart to heart with your spouse on where your life, business, or fitness is headed and which way you would like to see it go, implement a strategy like your life depended on it, repeat the same mundane tasks over and over again until you find success, and surround yourself with positive, uplifting, ambitious people.
